County's history goes back to the Karankawa Indians and
Stephen F. Austin's original Texas Colony- take it all in at
our historical museum located next to the Brazoria County
courthouse in Angleton.
The
Varner- Hogg State Historical Park in West Columbia is a great
place to visit with its famous Varner-Hogg Plantation.
East Columbia can lay claim to one of the oldest frame houses
still standing in Texas.
